Scarecrow Competition And Festival

Whether traditional or modern, based on a well-known character or inspired by a nursery rhyme, looking like an animal or  supporting your favourite team, design and create your own scarecrow.  Take your inspriation from anywhere - the choice is endless.

In the run-up to Harvest Festival, we invite the local community to create imaginative scarecrows and display them in their front gardens from 5th to 9th September.  There is a competition to see who can make the best scarecrow so be sure to register your entry.  You will need to bring your scarecrow to the church garden for display and voting on Saturday 10th September.

Competition Age Groups:

• 5 to 8
• 9 to 11
• 12 and upwards

Games and refreshments will be available from 14:00.  Prize giving will be at 15:30.
